Bed and Breakfast
in the Lot,

South West France,
between the rivers
Lot and Dordogne

Stay at our lovely old, stone Mas nestled in the tranquil, wooded countryside of the Bouriane, between the Lot and Dordogne valleys in sunny south west France.
.
Mas de Flory Bed & Breakfast is situated on the edge of a small village with a bar, shop, post office and auberge, and is surrounded by lovely countryside with peaceful, far-reaching views.

There are five very comfortable, double en-suite bedrooms which we offer for bed and breakfast, with optional evening meal, throughout the year.

We are in a beautiful and unspoilt area of France - the Lot is one of the largest and least populated departments.
From here you can explore the widely varying terrain from lush river valley to gently rolling countryside, to shady green forest and rocky limestone causse.
We are within an hour's drive of Rocamadour, Sarlat, Domme, Les Eyzies, St Cirq Lapopie, Pech Merle and Cahors.

“Everything we hoped for and more”
John & Aileen were wonderful hosts for our Easter weekend stay at Mas de Flory, well situated in a lovely village in the scenic Lot Valley. Aileen's cooking and the very tasty local wine would be reason enough to stay but together with excellent cycling along John's beautiful & well-planned routes, you can enjoy the delicious evening meals even more. The guest rooms, in the lovely converted barn, were extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated, with a lovely outside seating area on the deck. This is a perfect base for touring the Lot & Dordogne valleys, whether by bicycle or other mode of transport.

"A little bit of French heaven"
Far from the madding crowd yet convenient to visit some of France's loveliest attractions. The simple but extremely comfortable rooms are housed in a gorgeous converted barn. It would be an awesome location for a group or family reunion. Foodie hosts John and Aileen gave us "insider information" on the best wineries and markets as well as scenic routes to get to local attractions such as Rocamadour and St Cirq Lapopie. At night, we walked out onto the barn's patio and saw a night sky unpolluted by light; I never knew there were so many stars up there. We will be back for sure.

This has been a wonderful holiday - we've enjoyed every moment of our stay. Very many thanks to John and Aileen who have created the perfect sanctuary in a lovely setting. Thanks to Aileen for the great food and to John for his good advice. The clear night skies and watching the deer play at Mas de Flory will be etched in our memories.
